Hi, I had forgotten all about this profile so was surprised to see some nice reviews. Thanks. We liked this song a lot, but the quality wasn't great as it was only a rough demo. Anyway, The Iodines split up a while ago, but the guitarist and the singer have gone on to form another band called Death Defying Spying. You can find it here = http://wwwman.co.uk/DefyingSpying/
Formed from the ashes and broken noses of other north western bands, The Iodines arrived on a burgeoning local scene in March 2005; their first gig together, having been writing and developing their set in a basement room over the cold winter of the same year. Their debut came at the Liverpool Academy Unsigned Showcase, showing the best of unsigned talent in the North West. Since then the nights became longer, the holidays came and went and The Iodines played to more people, wrote more songs and planned to play more shows; hoping to make people smile, dance and remember their songs, and maybe come back to see them again. Some say their set has a wide variety of musical styles, harnessing, some say, diversity in technique taken from a wide range of personal influences. Each band member strong in their abilities to draw from them, yet provide a new slant on what they like, to produce a very individual and contemporary brand of dance fuelled guitar rock. They say they like to play and hope you like what they play.

Rock, Indie, Alternative

We like many different things. To list them all would bore you all, and maybe make some of you turn your nose up, or maybe go yes. I like. We all like being under the influence of alcohol.
