about us

I'm an old git who writes and performs acoustic-based songs with as many infectious hooks and rousing choruses as I can muster. There are touches of psychedelia and blues / bluegrass in some of my compositions, but basically they don't (and aren't meant to) sound like anybody else. My musical influences are eclectic and diverse: Donovan, Jeff Buckley, Prefab Sprout, The Beatles, Nick Drake, and Joni Mitchell to name but a few. Everything on my songs is me, recorded in digital 4-track. I regularly perform solo acoustic sets, so I try to write songs that are strong enough to be stripped down and still sound interesting - even above the distractions of a noisy bar.

* PLEASE NOTE: I HAVE NEVER SET FOOT IN A RECORDING STUDIO. ALL THESE SONGS ARE HOME DEMOS! *

"I AM here, and it DOES make sense. I came back to 1955 with the
you from 1985 to get a book back from Biff. So once we got the book
back, you...that is the YOU from 1985...were in the DeLorean when it
got struck by lightning and you got sent back to 1885!"

"1885? It's a very interesting story, Future Boy, but
there's one little thing that doesn't make sense. If the me in the
future is now in the past, how could you possibly know about it?"
