....Me (Adam) and Gary have been playing guitar together since about 2001 and he taught me how to play. We started out with a bit of Nirvana cause the songs were pretty easy to learn and we played at a friends party. Now, this friend's Mum comes from Chile and she talks to him in Spanish mostly. She often called him "Conio" which means Cunt. Me and Gary thought "hey we're cunts" so we became Los Conios. We Found a drummer on the internet and the drummer (James) found a bass player from his uni (Tom). After our first very shambolic gig playing dodgy covers at a Hells angel's pub we decided to carry on writing songs, rehearsing, gigging etc. A few years later, we released an E.P. in 2004 called "It's not all about cats". People liked it, and Big Jim (now manager who was then managing 'Reverend') heard it one stoned evening and really liked it too. Tom was 'fired' from Bass and we became a 3-piece but after we figured out that we ought to be a 4 piece, we got a new drummer (Joachim). James was unhappy, so he left and now we have Joachim on drums and begged Tom to come back on bass. He rejoined us, because he is a sweetheart. It's like a house on fire. It was quite a learning curve I tell thee. xx FIN!
