After working on top secret science projects for the Ukranian government together and playing music behind firmly closed doors for nearly five years, The Cruyff Turn were formed by two brothers, a cousin and two close family friends. They had one agenda, bend the rules and kick the living jazz out of the Ukranian music scene. It is no surprise that the band were blacklisted from many towns in Russia, they received death threats from the Russian Jazz Mafia and were forced to flee the country....forever. They immediately headed for Detroit and set about burning up the jazz candle as fast as they could. Despondent at the lack of talent in Motor City, the band then relocated to LA for two years picking up tans and fans whenever they played live shows and are now planning to actually un-learn their chosen instruments, making their music more 'honest'. Their shortest song is 49 seconds long and their longest goes on for about six hours. They are the first band in the entire world to use a robot.
