A Danish duo, Jake and Jake land in London with a boom clang. Jake plays guitar and Jake plays drums and blips. But not necessarily in that order. Triggerbox is formed. Some gigs and recordings happen…people mumble White Stripes with beatz. Then the Jake's realise: this town's rather too large for the two of us. They recruit a stray Glaswegian bass monkey. An EP called Go Monkey! is released. More gigs. A lost British art graduate hoves into view. Guitar in hand, synths are laid before him. Multitasking will be the key to the keys. "Damn it…why am i not of the fairer sex?", he thinks when he is also handed a tambourine, a xylophone, a stylophone, an old telephone exchange and the bar tab. Triggerbox have grown up. A bit.
