A long time ago, before the coming of 'punk', and well before the unruly beast called 'hip-hop' was unleashed, there was 'Zhain' (sometimes known as 'The Incredible Zhain'). Zhain were three brave men who travelled throughout the countries of England, Scotland and Wales managing to make a living by playing music (live) and by doing so, making a lot of people very happy as well! In their heyday, they never managed to get a record deal. Ironically, 35 years on from their inception, a record deal seems now more likely than ever before.
Because Zhain reformed in January 2006, and played a series of explosive gigs in and around Los Angeles. Following this success, they are embarking on a world tour, starting 15/6/2006, which takes in the UK, Europe, USA, New Zealand, Australia and Japan. A new single, written and sung in spanish (entitled 'No hay cuchara') is scheduled for release on the band's own 'Purple Plum' label on Oct 6th 2006, and the band will be promoting this in Spain and Central America.
